D2 - Football - Poland - 2. Liga

Warta, placed 14th with 2 points behind last place hosts Podbeskidzie, placed 4th with 36 points and 2 points less than 1st place.
The situation in table isn't the only one, which makes the huge difference between teams. Warta has big financial problems, and almost the board refused to play in spring round, but finally they decided to play. Podbeskidzie is a team, which played last 7 consecutive season in 2nd league, and now has aspirations to promote to 1st league. They tried to promote 3 years ago, but they bought too many players, and at the end, they were 1 point under promotion zone, with big financial problems. Last 2-3 years were very difficult for the club, but they survived with young players combined with some experienced motivators. Last season surprisingly Podbeskidzie was close to achieve promotion, even nobody believed in them. This year they have only on aim - 1st league. They played one of the most beautiful football in 2nd league. They bought 2 zimbabwean players, one of them, Clemence Matawu played around 40 games in Zimbabwean National Team, other one is Central defender, big as a Traianos Dellas ;). Podbeskidzie played a lot of friendlies. they got bad results at the beginning, but finished with 3 straight big wins. On the other hand Warta didn't play a friendly on a green, grassy pitch. All, because of financial situation. Warta's captain admitted, that some players are woeful and have very poor morale. They don't know if they're in good or bad shape. Captain said, that they will know it tommorow, after the 1st whistle. I dont believe that Warta can threaten Podbeskidzie. Podbeskidzie is hot form, with great coach, and they gonna win tommorow.
