You don't really have to be a rocket scientist to pick the right side when the best and the worst teams in the AL go head to head in a series. Detroit is the most in form squad in MLB and the good run sees them topping the Central Division and makes them big favorites against the lowly A's.
Despite the tradition struggles in Oakland, the Tigers are confident they can extend the winning streak after winning 8 out of the last 10 games. They will start with a good pitcher as well, Porecello winning 8 times this season and earning an ERA of 3. 55, less then half of his counterparts.
The hosts will counter with Anderson who is was rested for more than a week after injuring his arm, but his poor record and terrible ERA is not going to boost anyone's morale, except may the visitors'.
I strongly believe that the Tigers will find it easy in winning this fixture and they won't achieve a low margins victory, but given the tough schedule I'll put safety first and choose a moneyline bet.
