- Football - Italy - Serie A
Obviously, the contrast in fortunes between the clubs couldn't be any bigger but I think Roma -1. 5 could be opposed purely in terms of value. Remember I'm not in the business of predicting winners!
Naturally with their record, one can only imagine an easy home win for Roma. The odds have already factored this. However, what the odds haven't taken into consideration is the latest update - neither Toni, Totti & Vucinic will play as coach Ranieri doesn't want to risk the latter duo. Menez is also out so that leaves Baptista (hardly feature this season) & Okaka (asked to delay his loan to Fulham).
Massive absentees considering a -1. 5 hcp.
As for Siena, I guess the only way is up. The only consolation is all 4 defeats (in their last 5) had come against tough, in-form oppositions - Palermo, Fiorentina, Inter & AC Milan. Prior to that, they had decent wins over Catania & Udinese under new boss Malesani. Siena do have absentees of their own - suspended CBs Cribari and Brandao but with their defence this poor, it could actually be a plus in the counter-spirit of "if it ain't broken, don't fix it. "
Try Siena +1. 25 1. 97 for value.
My price: Siena +1. 25 1. 90
