I don't believe home ground will help Tanasugarn enough to beat young gun from Russia like Kudryavtseva. Tanasugarn so far this season and to be honest in good few months plays absolutely nothing special, she had blast winning event on grass in Netherlands and her game from that moment froze. Bookies set pretty tight odds here and Tamarine is playing at home country of Pattaya city, but Alla is enough prospective and talented player that I'm willing taking her as underdog, rather than counting that Thai player will suddenly woke up raised by home-crowd to make a blast here. Both ladies have tendency to lose their service games and I expect typical women's game, probably 3-sets, a lot of breaks, ups and downs. Alla is the one who is raising right now in WTA, she is young, decent and talented, played far away more than Tanasugarn, who played maybe 4 events since Wimbledon 2009. In 2006 Alla as a very young player managed to beat Tanasugarn 2:1 and now she got more experience and skills and I do believe if she will handle the pressure of home crowd cheering for Tamarine she will be able to repeat it. She beat Oudin at Australian Open and that gives me hope that she really is in better form that Tanasugarn, who played less, probably will be able only to trick younger opponent with experience rather than power.
