Miami (24-31) hosts Orlando Magic (20-36) and my tip here is Miami -5. 5 at 1. 64 odds on unibet.
Miami are back at home after 4 away games and they have lost the streak. They were on a unbelievable 13 game winning streak but they lost 2 nights ago at Philadelphia. However, they are back home and they are going to play in my mind the second worst team in the NBA.
Orlando's form is no where to be find as they have lost 9 of their last 11 games. Matter of fact they managed to beat twice Toronto (away & home) and that's the only team they managed to beat since January 20. They play literally no defense and the motivation of the team is also non excistent it seems. They lost their last 3 away games by : 32pts, 24pts, 27pts.. . That's terrible and they also only won 1 of their last 9 away games. And they lost by 6pts or more in 7 of the 8 losses.
So why Miami lost their 13-win streak at Philly? I think they looked really tired in this game, they've played a lot of basketball lately with overtime, close games and long travels between home/away. They have also a tons of injuries so players are playing more minutes then usually. However, they had a 2day rest at home and I think that's what they needed to try to start another winning streak.
Facing Orlando at home is the perfect spot for them to renew with victory. With Orlando record away from home, Miami are clear favourites. Orlando are also going to play for the 3rd game in a row without Jodie Meeks and Aaron Gordon. Both are starters and both have played well this season so not easy for Orlando to adjust.
So Miami are going to win in my mind and by 6pts or more so my tip is Miami -5. 5 on Unibet at 1. 64 odds. Miami, despite the injuries, have played fantastic basketball, and I think they're a play off team really well coached by Erik Spoelstra. Deon Waiters has been one of the hero during the winning streak but missed the 3 last games with an injury but tonight he's back so that's a good addition for a motived Miami squad after a 2 day home rest.
